user starting round right off, then vote kicking other users

He repeatedly starts the round after 20 seconds, tried to set me on fire, jumped off pier and died, got other bots and kill them off. He's is generally verbally abusive, and hostile. My guess is, he's stoned.

After he screwed up 2 rounds in a row, as soon as a new round began, I portal killed him once to get his attention, asked him to wait to start round, then I suicided to get a round restart.

So he started the next round immediately (yet again), died in a few mins, then a few mins later when someone else joined, he trumped up some b-s voice chat to the new join and vote kicked me.

A few things jump to mind here...

1. Don't blame the weed.
2. Don't portal kill someone to get their attention. If they are causing a problem, and other people in the server agree, it should be very possible to votekick him.
If you were the only other person in the server, 1 no vote would cancel their 1 yes vote, so the vote would never pass.

Don't get me wrong, it sounds like he was also being a douche. I would like to hear from him too on this matter. Also, get the offenders steamID for us in the future, too.

Is this the same player as Natman has 99 friends? If so I knew it would be a matter of time before he got reported. I was having similar problems with him in TB3 a few nights ago where he was porting people off the level and mouthing off to me. I kicked him after the verbal taunting and spent the next 10 minutes re-kicking as he kept joining. If we're talking about the same player he's a14 yr old confused aussie. The times I've seen him mainly playing is from 1am-3am pst.

How do you successfully vote kick someone when you are the only other person on the server?

An yes, I can blame the weed when resonable conversation is no longer possible do to being called random nouns and verbs in combinations that make no sense.

Try not to torture people, warder. Just inform them of the rule they are breaking and kick. It's better for them the learn and move on then to get pissed and want to come back and rage in the wee hours of the morning.

I just left a game where some user figured out how to hide his name from the normal vote kick, (but not the cvar votekick). This moron was spawning atlases on people's heads trying to crush them to death. Even after he was dead. I don't know how he did it.. I just decided it's was a good time to quit. I've done the whole admin this way too much on too many servers, spend all my time arbitrating, and no time enjoying the game. I would love it if steam gave us a non-friends black-list to warn us people we don't like joining our game. That would be a great asset, mabey even a user rating system. That would be so nice, but someone would abuse it, I'm sure.

I can back this story. I've run into Mendoza several times. All bad experiences. I will watch him in game.
