So, what I'm gathering from this thread is that:

- Puffin, as close-minded as he is, is culturally and artistically inept
- and thor's opinion doesn't matter

Showharu, opening a thread like this only warrants criticism, you shouldn't have even bothered replying. Quit acting like you deserve some recognition and respect just because you have an interest in something many on this forum does not.

Puffin, he can post whatever the fuck he wants as long as it's in The Lounge. Even if it holds small relation to a topic outside on the other forums, it's nothing to act childish over and relentlessly pursue him on anything anime related. Furthermore, seeing as anime is a foreign area of knowledge to you altogether, it'd be wise to not act like you hold the majority consensus on the world's opinion on it. And since thor's basically in the same (sinking) boat, I'll educate both of you at once:

Anime is a very broad term that simply refers to animation that originates in Japan. It's the equivalent of calling all western animation "cartoons".

Both share a wide range of styles. The only difference is the Japanese culture that has influence behind anime, rather than western culture influencing cartoons. American cable networks, like Cartoon Network as you can see in the picture, even licenses some anime.

This shouldn't be a surprise... anime... a.k.a animation... a.k.a art... is universal.

Heres the thing damian It didn't start like this it was called editors showing there work all i had on it was a manga pic i edited and i wanted to see other edited pictures like i know for a fact maddog edits pictures had nothing to do with anime till puffin insulted me for likein anime and thor wanted to join in on my bashing so I changed the name of it and turned out like that in the end I took my pics off and changed it to my final argument.. never even ment for this shit to escalate. I dont make forums to argue just wanted to see some edits. If i wanted peoples recognition id just start cursing out everyone or even wider. grab a loud speaker take a hostage and stand on top of a skyscraper. Idc if i got comments or not. Just wanted to see edits you know me better then that.
